VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The Viking Track and Field team will be in Fargo for the Bison Open at the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track and Field Facility at North Dakota State University.
The meet starts on Friday and will wrap up on Saturday.
Grace Backstrom will be competing in the Pentathlon which begins on. Friday with the 60m Hurdles and 800 Meters. It will finish up on Saturday with the High Jumps, Shot Put, and Long Jump.
Frida Barrera will look to build off her School Record performance last week in the 800 Meters. She is seeded seventh heading into Saturday's competition. She is seeded sixth in the 600 Meters which will be run on Saturday. She will also compete in 1000 Meters on Friday.
For the men,
Mason Brehmer looks to improve off his personal best from last week in the Mile Run.
Jordon Mount is seeded fourth in the 400 Meters on Saturday.
Zeke Barnick is seeded eighth in the High Jump which will also be on Saturday.
The meet begins on Friday with the Men's 60 Meters in the Heptathlon at noon. The Women's Pentathlon 60m Hurdles will be at 12:30 Friday. Saturday, Track events start at 11:00am, while Field events start at 11:45 am.
