HELENA, Mont. – The Frontier Conference has named 134 men's indoor track & field student-athletes from ten (10) conference programs as Academic All-Conference, presented by Billings Clinic and Logan Health.
Dakota State (S.D.) led the league with 32 recipients to the conference academic list, followed by Montana Tech with 22 recipients. Rocky Mountain (Mont.) collected 17 recipients to the list. Carroll (Mont.) added 15 recipients, followed by Dickinson State (N.D.) with 14 recipients.
Valley City State (N.D.) registered 11 recipients for the academic award, while Providence (Mont.) recorded seven recipients. Montana Western had six recipients, and Bellevue (Neb.) and Bismarck State (N.D.) each registered five recipients.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in standing and carry a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average (GPA).
Valley City State placed 23 student-athletes on the list for Winter Sports which includes Men's and Women's Track and Field and Men's and Women's Basketball.
For the Vikings' Women, twelve names are on the list, and for the Men, eleven made Academic All-Conference.

The inaugural Frontier Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships are set for Saturday and Sunday at Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex in Brookings, S.D., on the campus of South Dakota State. The two-day conference meet is hosted by Dakota State.
The first day of the conference meet is set for Saturday at 5 p.m. (Central Time)/4 p.m. (Mountain Time). The conference meet continues Sunday at 11 a.m. (CT)/10 a.m. (MT), with the awards presentation at the conclusion of the meet.
