VALLEY CITY, N.D. – Valley City State University will celebrate Homecoming this weekend as Viking Football hosts Eastern Oregon University at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Dacotah Bank Field at Lokken Stadium.
Fans attending Saturday's festivities should be aware of parking changes due to ongoing construction at the Tharaldson Family Sports Complex.
Saturday's Homecoming Highlights
- 10:30 a.m. – Homecoming Parade on Central Avenue
- 12 p.m. – Football tailgating
- 2 p.m. – Viking Football vs. Eastern Oregon
- 5 p.m. – Postgame and All-Alumni Social at the Valley City Eagles Club (21+)
Parking Information
There will be diagonal parking in the Lokken Stadium lot directly behind the stadium.
The gravel parking lot west of Lokken Stadium will be available for additional parking this season. A limited number of spaces will also be available adjacent to the fence line at the Tharaldson Softball Complex west of Lokken Stadium.
Fans may also use the parking lot at Epworth Methodist Church. VCSU thanks Epworth Methodist Church for allowing fans to use its parking lot during construction.
Stadium Entrances and Tickets
A non-cash ticket gate will be located on the west side of Lokken Stadium. Passes, e-tickets and hard tickets will be accepted at this gate.
Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance.
There is only one cash gate, which is located on the north side of the stadium.
The tailgating area will remain the same this season.
