HELENA, Mont. – The Frontier Conference has announced Thursday that 86 men's basketball student-athletes from twelve (12) conference programs as Academic All-Conference, presented by Billings Clinic and Logan Health.
Dickinson State (N.D.) and Rocky Mountain (Mont.) each led the conference with 11 recipients on the conference academic list. MSU-Northern and Providence (Mont.) each added 10 scholar-athletes to the list. Carroll (Mont.) recorded eight recipients to the academic list.
Dakota State (S.D.) registered seven scholar-athletes to the Frontier Conference academic list. Mayville State (N.D.) and Valley City State (N.D.) each added six recipients to the list. Bellevue (Neb.), Bismarck State (N.D.), and Montana Western each recorded five scholar-athletes, while Montana Tech registered three scholar-athletes.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in standing and carry a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average (GPA).

The Frontier Conference Men's Basketball Postseason Tournament is underway Friday evening at Butte Civic Center in Butte, Mont. The eight-team postseason tournament starts with a pair of quarterfinal contests on Friday and Saturday (both days starts at 5 p.m. Mountain Time), followed by the semifinals on Sunday and championship game on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. (MT).
The contests will be live streamed via Frontier Conference's YouTube page on the first three days of the tournament. The championship game will be live broadcast on SWX Local Sports on Monday evening.
