VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The Valley City State Track and Field team was back in action on Saturday at the Bison Team Cup. The Viking Men had four top five finishes; the Women had one top five finish.
For the Men,
Gage Gunther took second in the 600 Meters with a time of 1:31.33.
Isaac Eichhorst was right behind in third place with a time of 1:32.28.
Parker Jacobson was fifth in 60 Meters with a time of 7.26.
Zeke Barnick was fifth in the high jump with a jump of 1.91 meters. The men had 14 points in the meet.
On the women's side, Caitlin Armbrust was fifth in the triple jump with a jump of 9.60 meters.
Next Saturday, the Vikings will compete in two meets. They will have athletes at the University of Mary Winter Classic, and they will also have athletes at the Cobber Open Indoor Meet.
