Valley City State softball has earned six All-Conference awards and one Gold Glove for the 2025 season, the conference office announced today.

st Team All-Conference while

Maddy Zander and
Madison Hazelton earned 2
nd Team All-Conference. Gronberg was named to the 2025 NSAA Gold Glove team, and Diemert was named VCSU's Champion of Character.

Logan Gronberg was named 1
st Team All-Conference for the second straight year after leading the North Star with a .492 batting average, .541 on-base percentage, and .795 slugging percentage this season. The Bismarck, N.D. native ranks second in the conference with 10 home runs and 45 RBIs while also posting 65 hits, 10 doubles, and 20Â runs on the season. Gronberg also earned a Gold Glove award for outstanding defense, recording just three errors in 229 total chances this season.

Makenzee Stone has earned 1
st Team All-Conference for the third time in her Viking career. The senior has totaled a .362 batting average including 42 hits, three doubles, one triple and one home run this season. She also totals 29 runs scored and 26 RBIs for the Vikings. Stone, a Blaine, Minn. native, was also named 1
st Team All-Conference in her freshman and junior seasons.

Ashlyn Diemert was named 1
st Team All-Conference for the first time in her career after earning 2
nd Team All-Conference in each of the last two seasons. The West Fargo native posts a .363 batting average this season with 37 hits, nine doubles, two triples and four home runs. The senior also totals 24 runs scored and 27 RBIs for VCSU. Diemert was named VCSU's Champion of Character which is awarded to the player who represents the five core values of the NAIA Champions of Character program: respect, integrity, servant leadership, sportsmanship and responsibility.

Kylee Banerd has earned 2
nd Team All-Conference in her first year as a Viking. The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native holds a .323 batting average with 42 hits, a team-leading 11 doubles, three triples and eight home runs for VCSU. Her eight home runs on the season ranks third in the North Star. The freshman scored a team-high 37 runs and drove in 29 this season.

Maddy Zander has earned 1
st Team All-Conference for the third time as a Viking at pitcher and designated player. At the plate, she totals a .311 batting average with 38 hits, six doubles, seven home runs, 29 RBIs and 17 runs scored. In the circle, the senior posts an 11-10 record and a 4.87 ERA in 106.1 innings pitched. The Bismarck, N.D. native ranks third in the conference with 11 wins and 103 strikeouts on the season.

Madison Hazelton earned 2
nd Team All-Conference as a freshman pitcher and designated player for the Vikings. The Winona, Minn. native totals a .319 batting average with 29 hits, six doubles, one home run, 17 runs scored and 13 RBIs for VCSU. In the circle, the freshman posts a 6-6 record with two saves for the Vikings. She totals a 3.07 ERA and 85 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .220 batting average.
