VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The Valley City State University women's and men's track and field teams will be competing in the North Dakota State University Spring Classic on Friday and Saturday, April 11 and 12.
 
The NDSU Spring Classic is set to begin on Friday, April 11 at 10:00 a.m. beginning with field events. Running events will follow starting at 3:00 p.m. All events will be completed at the Terrence Dahl and Donna Beres Track Complex at NDSU

Some teams the Vikings will compete against are North Dakota State University, University of North Dakota, Minnesota State University Moorhead, University of Mary, Minot State University, Bemidji State University, Concordia Moorhead, University of Jamestown.
 
After just two outdoor meets this season, the Vikings have one national qualifier in Kendra Odegard and have set two school records. Viking Karly Just set the school record in the 10,000-meter race and Jordan Mount set the record in the 400-meter race.
