FARGO, N.D. – The Valley City State University track & field team took three top eight finishes at the North Dakota State University Bison Open.
The Vikings had the opportunity to compete against Bemidji State, Bismarck State, Concordia Moorhead, Dickinson State, Jamestown, Minot State, Minnesota State University Moorhead, North Dakota, North Dakota State, Northwestern Iowa, South Dakota State, and the University of Mary.
Viking freshman
Tayshaun Robinson took sixth place in the 110-meter hurdles just over a half second off national qualifying pace finishing with a time of 15.06.
Sophomore
Arie Bratrud produced a 45.51-meter javelin throw good for a sixth-place finish. His personal best was 46.80 meters earlier this week at the Viking Twilight meet.
Jagger Dickman threw a 13.55-meter shot put attempt that placed eighth at the Bison Open.
