Valley City State softball has announced changes to its weekend games against Bellevue University.
 
Due to weather and field conditions in Valley City, the conference series will now be played in Bellevue, Neb. The games, originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, have been pushed back to Sunday and Monday. Bellevue will provide live coverage for all games.

The Vikings opened the conference season with a 4-0 record after sweeping Dakota State last week. VCSU is now 15-12 overall. Bellevue opened its conference season going 1-3 against Dickinson State last week. The Bruins are 12-14 overall this season.
 
Valley City State's Logan Gronberg recently earned NSAA Player of the Week after batting .688 with two doubles, a home run and eight RBIs in the conference-opening series. Gronberg leads the conference with a .521 batting average, seven home runs and 32 RBIs on the season. She also leads the North Star with a .563 on-base percentage and a .945 slugging percentage.
