The Valley City State softball team is slated to compete at the Tucson Invitational Games March 7-13. VCSU will play 12 games over the stretch, including games against nationally ranked teams.

VCSU kicks off its stint in Tucson, Ariz. on Friday at 10 a.m. CT against Concordia University (Mich.). The Vikings will then be tested against No. 6 Madonna, (RV) St. Francis and No. 11 Northwestern before taking on a familiar face in former NSAA-member Viterbo.

All games will have a livestream available on the VCSU Vikings YouTube page. Four games will have live stats available, and eight games will provide live scoring through GameChanger. Live stats will be available through a paid upgrade.

VCSU goes into the Tucson Invitational Games with a 5-7 overall record.
Logan Gronberg has amassed an impressive .591 batting average and a 1.409 slugging percentage.
Alyssa DePoorter is batting .424, and
Madison Hazelton holds a .407 batting average. Freshman
Kylee Banerd totals nine extra-base hits for VCSU including five doubles, two triples and two home runs.
