VALLEY CITY – Valley City State University is set to host the 106^th Barnes County Boys Tournament for high school basketball programs in the region.
 
The Barnes County Tournament will take place at the W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse on the VCSU campus Jan. 7, 9 and 11. The tournament will feature eight teams looking to knock off LaMoure/Litchville-Marion who has won back-to-back tournament titles in 2023 and 2024. Teams competing in the 2025 tournament include Barnes County North, Enderlin, Maple River, May-Port CG, LaMoure/Litchville-Marion, Valley City, Wyndmere-Lidgerwood and White Shield.
 
All games will be broadcast by Your Live Event. Select games will have a radio broadcast available on Q101.1 KQDJ FM.
 
Major tournament sponsors include Valley City State University, VCSU Athletics, the Valley City Chamber of Commerce, Valley City Tourism and Farmers Union Insurance.
