Jaiden Peraza and Taylor Sargent will represent VCSU Track & Field at the NAIA Indoor National Championships this weekend.
 
Peraza and Sargent have both qualified to compete at the national meet, which runs Thursday through Saturday at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex in Brookings, S.D.
 
Sargent has qualified in the women's 60-meter hurdles. The prelim races are Friday at 12:35 p.m., and the finals will be held Saturday at 12:45 p.m. Sargent, a senior from Carlyle, Saskatchewan, is ranked 32^nd in the event with her top time of 9.02 seconds this season. A total of 46 athletes are scheduled to race in the women's 60-meter hurdles.
 
Peraza will represent VCSU in the men's high jump, which begins Friday at 2 p.m. A freshman from Kindred, N.D., Peraza is ranked 17^th in the NAIA with his top mark of 2.03 meters this season. Friday's high jump event includes 30 competitors.
 
The top 8 finishers in each event earn All-American honors.
