DICKINSON, N.D. – The Valley City State University men's and women's golf teams competed in the 36-hole Dickinson State University Invite on April 19-20. Viking men competed as a team and individuals against Dickinson State and Mayville State. The women competed as individuals against Dickinson State's women.
 
VCSU men's teams finished second of three after shooting season low team scores of 304 and 302 on day one and two. Zach St. Aubin finished the tournament tied for third with a 73-76, (+5), leading the Vikings in their efforts. In sixth with a 75-75 (+6) was Owen Haase. Nick Meisch rounded out the top ten in tenth going 82-73 (+11). John Renaud and Wyatt Meisch both fired a 78-78 (+12) tying for 13^th. Howard Neustel and Tony Piccalo finished in 25^th and 28^th respectively.
 
VCSU women competing as individuals had Sadie Neustel take second place firing an 80-77 (+13). Sydney Carson took third shooting 79-85 (+20).
 
UP NEXT: VCSU Golf will be off to Village Greens in Moorhead to compete against Mayville State, M State – Fergus Falls, and Alexandria Tech on Thursday April 23 at 1:00 PM.
