VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The Al Bortke Open host by the University of Mary has been moved to Sunday, April 6 due to the weather. The Valley City State University track & field team is set to compete in their second outdoor meet of the season in Bismarck, N.D.
The Al Bortke Open will now begin at 11:00 a.m. starting with field events. Running events will follow at 11:30 p.m. The hammer throw will be recorded by each team on at their home facilities.

The event will be timed by Direct Athletics with results uploaded to TFRRS. Results will be posted upon availability.
The Vikings have had one national qualifier in their first outdoor meet of the year.
Kendra Odegard national qualified in the javelin. Last time out VCSU's
Jordan Mount placed first in the 400-meter while
Cameron Champagnie took first in the triple jump.
