VALLEY CITY, N.D. – Valley City State University has two track and field athletes headed to Gainsville, Fla. to compete at the 2025 NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championship from Feb. 27 to Mar. 1.
Valley City's
Tayshaun Robinson, a sophomore, is set to compete in the 60-meter hurdles. Earlier this season Robinson set the school record running an 8.15 at the Dakota Alumni Classic on Dec. 18. Robinson's 8.15 qualified for Nationals with the NAIA "B" Standard.
Prelims for the 60-meter hurdles will be on Feb. 28 at 11:50 a.m. CST. The finals for the 60-meter hurdles are set for Saturday, Mar. 1 at 11:55 a.m. CST.
Karly Just, a junior, will compete in the 3,000-meter. Just qualified for nationals after recording school record 10:36.41 at the Bison Open and Multi on Feb. 8. Just's 3,000-meter time was inside the top 20 fastest times in the NAIA earning her a bid to nationals.
Prelims for the 3,000-meter are set for 3:15 p.m. CST Friday, Feb. 28. The finals for the 3,000-meter are set for Saturday, Mar. 1 at 2:00 p.m. CST.
