VALLEY CITY, N.D. – Viking men's and women's cross country is headed to Bismarck, N.D. to compete in the Marauders Open hosted by the University of Mary on Friday, Oct. 10.
The men's 8K race is slated for 4:00 p.m. running at the McDowell Dam, a course that includes rolling hills and open fields. The women's 6K will follow at 6:45 p.m. Timing will be done by Knoxville Endurance and posted to Athleticnet when available.

So far this season Viking Women have been led by
Frida Barrera who placed 35
th in a field of 96 at the Jimmie Invitational. She was the third fastest time out of Frontier Conference competitors. Following her was
Paiton Flick taking 66
th.
Viking men ran an 8K at the Jimmie Invitational with lead finisher
Mason Brehmer taking 67
th in a field of 121 that showcased NCAA Division I, II, and III runners. He was followed by
Zach Baumgartner,
Tate Minnihan,
Kole Albers, and Issac Eichhorst.
