JAMESTOWN, N.D. – The Valley City State Cross-Country team competed at the Jimmie Invite held at the Parkhurst Recreation Area in Jamestown Friday, October 3
rd.
The women did not have a team score in an even that featured runners from NCAA Division I, II, and NAIA. 
Frida Barrera led the Viking women with a 23:45.6 good enough for 35
th overall and 2
nd among NAIA runners. 
Paiton Flick was 66
th overall and eighth among NAIA runners with a 25:29.7 time.
Mason Brehmer led the men with a personal best 27:35.0 which was good enough for 46
th place. 
Zach Baumgartner was 48
th with a PR time of 27:57.3. Tata Minnihan was 57
th with a 28:48.9. 
Kole Albers placed 61
st with a personal best time of 29:24.0. Issac Eichhorst was 67
th with a time of 31:15.6 in the 8K race.The Viking men finished tenth as a team.
