BISMARCK, N.D. – The Valley City State men's cross country team had four runners compete at the Marauder Invite on Friday hosted by the University of Mary.
 
Mason Brehmer and Rigo Garcia led the Vikings with a pair of Top 15 finishes among the field of 32 runners racing the men's 8k.
 
Brehmer finished the 8k race in 28:26, crossing the line in 12^th place. Garcia was just 17 seconds back, taking 15^th place with his time of 28:43.
 
Jaxsyn Olson and Isaac Eichhorst both finished in the Top 20 for VCSU. Olson placed 17^th with a time of 30:20, while Eichhorst took 18^th in a time of 30:33.
