Valley City State University golf coach Kari Bodine announced today that Ashley McKittrick has signed a letter of intent to attend VCSU and join the women's golf team.
McKittrick is currently a senior at South Lake High School in Groveland, Fla. She recently committed to attend VCSU and golf for the Vikings starting this fall. McKittrick is planning to study fisheries and wildlife science while attending VCSU.
McKittrick brings strong high school golf experience with her as a three-time Florida Class 2A State Tournament qualifier. Her team, South Lake, has collected three district championships and two regional championships during McKittrick's high school campaign. She was also voted South Lake's most valuable player as a junior.
"Ashley comes to VCSU with many golf accomplishments both as an individual and as a team member," said Bodine. "She's committed to giving her best every day and will add to our team's energy at practice and tournaments."
