HELENA, Mont. – The 2025 Frontier Women's Volleyball Postseason Tournament, presented by First Interstate Bank, is set. The eight-team single elimination tournament will be held at the Carroll College PE Center in Helena (1601 N Benton Ave.) from Thursday, Nov. 13 through Saturday, Nov. 15.
Valley City State (13-14 overall record) and Montana Western (13-16 overall record) were tied for seventh in the Frontier Conference standings with 11-11 conference record. The Vikings won the tiebreaker over the Bulldogs via in numbers of sets won (4-3). VCSU will be the No. 7 seed, while UMW will be the No. 8 seed.
The Vikings are set to take on No. 7 Bellevue on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 6:00 p.m CT. This season the Vikings have faced Bellevue on two occasions. Early in the conference schedule the Vikings fell 3-0 to the Bruins. In their last time the Vikings grabbed the second set 25-15 over the Bruins but eventually came up short losing the match 3-1.
The winner of Thursday night's matchup will advance to the semifinals where they will face the winner of the Carroll College and Montana State Northern's game at 8:30 p.m CT.
