Valley City State University student-athletes earned 84 NSAA Academic Scholar-Athlete awards during the spring semester, the conference office announced Monday.
 
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and participate in a junior varsity or varsity contest.
 
Monday's group of honorees includes the winter and spring sports:  women's and men's basketball, women's and men's golf, women's and men's track and field, softball and baseball.
