The Valley City State basketball teams return home for conference doubleheaders this weekend. The Vikings will take on Viterbo University on Friday night and Waldorf University on Saturday at the Bubble.
This weekend's games will feature halftime performances by the Valley City Hi-Lites and Just for Kix dance teams. The men's game on Saturday will feature a halftime performance by the FM Acro II team.
The conference weekend kicks off on Friday when VCSU takes on Viterbo with the women's game tipping at 5:30 p.m. and the men to follow at 7:30 p.m.
The Viking women enter the weekend with an 8-8 overall record and a 1-2 mark in the NSAA. VCSU's men are currently 8-9 on the season and 1-2 in conference play. Viterbo's women are 4-11 on the season and 1-2 in the conference while the V-Hawk men are 8-8 overall and 2-1 in the North Star.
Valley City's dance teams will perform at halftime of both games on Friday night. Fans are encouraged to dress in a "Black Out" theme on Friday.
A livestream, radio and stats will be available for all games. Radio coverage will air on KOVC 1490 AM/96.3 FM. Fans can also purchase tickets online in advance.

On Saturday, VCSU will face Waldorf University with the women's game slated for 3 p.m. and the men's game scheduled for 5 p.m. Waldorf's women are currently 4-9 on the season and 2-1 in conference play. The Waldorf men enter the weekend at 5-10 overall and 1-2 in the North Star.
The FM Acro II team will perform at halftime of the men's game. Fans are encouraged participate in a jersey theme on Saturday.
