Cameron Pitts is in his third season on the Viking Baseball coaching staff at Valley City State University, now serving as the team’s pitching coach. He oversees the day-to-day development of the pitching staff, including individualized programming, bullpen management, game-day preparation, and helps to coordinate the efforts in all areas of recruitment. Pitts implements a Driveline-based program, emphasizing pitch design, velocity development, and modern analytics to maximize each pitcher’s performance.
A native of Montgomery, Texas, Pitts played collegiate baseball at Ecclesia College and Dakota State University from 2018 to 2022, contributing as a two-way player while earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He brings firsthand collegiate experience, leadership, and a strong work ethic to his coaching role.
