Anthony Kliniske is in his first season as the lead assistant baseball coach for the Vikings.

A native of Grafton, N.D., Kliniske joined the VCSU staff in August, 2014. He will mainly be in charge of coaching pitchers and catchers.

Kliniske played high school and Legion baseball in Grafton before going on to pitch at North Dakota State University in Fargo.

As a collegiate student-athlete, Kliniske excelled in the classroom and was a three-time honoree on the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from NDSU in 2012.

Kliniske has previously worked as a junior high and junior varsity head coach in Grafton, and has also been the assistant pitching coach for Grafton High School.
