2023: Senior season... Led the team with 123 total tackles (48 solo, 75 assisted); Had team-highs of 12 sacks for 79 yards and 16.5 TFL for 87 yards; Forced 4 fumbles and broke up 4 passes; His 12.3 tackles per game ranked 2nd in the NAIA and his 12 sacks ranked 4th; Named 1st Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-American; Named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete; Named NSAA Defensive Player of the Week four times (Aug. 29, Sept. 18, Oct. 23, Oct. 30); Tied the school record with 3 sacks in a single game; Set new VCSU career records with 59 TFL and 37 sacks; His 375 career tackles ranks 3rd in Viking history and is the most ever by a VCSU defensive lineman

2022: Junior season... Led the team with 109 total tackles (46 solo, 63 assisted); Had team-highs of 12.5 sacks for 80 yards and 19.5 TFL for 102 yards; Forced 3 fumbles, recovered 1 fumble and broke up 2 passes; His 12.5 sacks led the entire NAIA during the regular season and was the 3rd best sack total in Viking football history; Gerhard was named 1st Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-American; Earned the NAIA Scholar-Athlete award; Was named NSAA Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 11, Oct. 18 and Nov. 14; Tied the school record with 3 sacks in a single game on Oct. 29 and Nov. 12; Named the VCSU Athletics Male Athlete of the Year

2021: Sophomore season... Led the team with 81 total tackles (42 solo, 39 assisted); Had team-highs of 10 sacks for 72 yards and 18 TFL for 93 yards; 2 forced fumbles and 4 pass break-ups; Tied a school record with 3 sacks on Oct. 2 against Mayville; Named NSAA Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 27 and Oct. 4; Named 1st Team All-Conference; Named Honorable Mention All-American

2020: Freshman/COVID season... Was second on the team with 62 total tackles (19 solo, 43 assisted); Recorded 5 TFL, 2.5 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries; Had a career-high 20 tackles on Sept. 26 against Dickinson State; Named Honorable Mention All-Conference
