HELENA, Mont. – Valley City State (N.D.), College of Idaho, and Montana Western were listed on the ninth installment of the 2025 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Football Players-of-the-Week, announced by the conference office Monday.
Offensive Player of the Week: Jake Deutsch, Valley City State (N.D.)
Deutsch, a junior wide receiver from Fargo, N.D., is the Offensive Player of the Week.
He caught a career-high eight passes for a career-high 145 yards with two touchdowns in leading Valley City State (N.D.) to a 29-21 home finale victory over Dickinson State (N.D.). He registered his first two touchdowns of his career.
The 63-yard touchdown reception was the longest of his career at VCSU. He had career highs in catches (31), yards (391), and touchdowns (5) going into the final two games of the season.
This is Deutsch's first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
Defensive Player of the Week: Mason Priddy, College of Idaho
Priddy, a junior defensive back from Vancouver, Wash., is the Defensive Player of the Week.
He is having a breakout season both on defense and as a kick returner for the 16
th ranked Yotes. On defense, Priddy was a key force in the 7-0 defeat of Eastern Oregon to stay perfect in Frontier West division play. In the tight battle of the defenses, he tallied two interceptions and five tackles including a tackle-for-loss.
His second interception came with 30 seconds remaining on the clock in a one-possession game to secure the victory.
This is Priddy's first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
Special Teams Player of the Week: Maclain Burckley, Montana Western
Burckley, a freshman kicker/punter from Billings, Mont., is the Special Teams Player of the Week.
He had a perfect day kicking in No. 20 ranked Bulldogs' 65-0 victory at Simpson (Calif.). He went 8-of-8 on PAT extra point kicks and 3-of-3 on field goals, including 55-yard field goals just before halftime to put UMW up 34-0. He scored 17 points in the game.
The monster kick is the longest in the Frontier Conference, besting his previous Frontier Conference 47 yards earlier this season. His 55-yard field goal is the third longest in the NAIA.
Burckley had five kick-offs for 320 total yards, with three kick-offs resulting in touchbacks. He averaged 64.0 yards per kickoff. He added three punts for 95 yards (31.7 yards per punt).
This is Burckley's second career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
