VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The Valley City State University volleyball team will host #2 University of Providence and (RV) Montana State University Northern this Friday, Oct. 17, and Saturday, Oct. 18.
The Vikings enter the weekend holding a 9-10 overall record and are 7-7 in Frontier Conference games. They have won nine straight sets in the last three games, moving into seventh overall in the Frontier Conference Standings. The top three teams in the conference are ranked nationally, while the 4-6 are receiving votes at the national level.
Providence visits Valley City as the #2 team in the nation and first in the Frontier, holding a 21-1 overall record and are 14-0 in Frontier Conference games. The first serve of Vikings vs. Providence is set for 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17. Live stats will be provided by VCSU as well as a live stream on the Viking Athletics YouTube page.

Morgan Freije, leads the team with blocks, with 68 and 63, respectively.
