Viking football will host their final home game of the season against No. 17 Dickinson State University.
 
The two teams met in October at Dickinson earlier this season, where the Trojans took home a 19-6 win. Entering the matchup the Vikings are 3-5 overall and 2-4 in the conference. No. 17 Dickinson is 7-1 on the season and 6-0 in the conference.
 
Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Lokken Stadium. Tailgating will begin at 1:30 p.m. Radio coverage will be on Q101 KQDJ FM. Last Meeting: Their battle earlier in the season was highlighted by ball control and playing with the wind at your back. With wind gust above 40 mph, the game was played primarily on the ground. The game was scoreless through the first quarter, then the Blue Hawks found the endzone twice in the second quarter. They missed one extra point making the score 13-0 at halftime. Scoring the only touchdown in the third quarter, the Blue Hawks extended their lead with a Darion Brown rush. They once again missed the extra point bringing the score to 19-0. In the fourth the Vikings got on the board with an Avery Thorsgard touchdown making the score 19-6. The Vikings produced 169 yards of total offense with 101-yard rushing and 68 yards passing. DSU produced 298 yards of offense with 190 yards rushing and 108 yards passing.
