The Valley City State basketball teams are headed to the 2024 Sam Milanovich Classic, Dickinson State's annual tournament hosted over Thanksgiving weekend.
 
The Vikings are set to take on teams from the Frontier Conference including Montana State University-Northern on Friday and Rocky Mountain College on Saturday.
 
VCSU's women will play at 2 p.m. CT each day and enter the tournament with a 6-3 overall record. The Viking men compete at 4 p.m. CT each day and are currently 6-2 on the season.

All tickets for the Sam Milanovich Classic must be purchased at the door. Admission for adults is $10 while seniors are $8 and K-12 children are $6.
 
MSU-Northern's women are 3-2 overall while its men are 1-4. Rocky Mountain's men and women are both receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll. RMC's women enter the tournament at 4-2, and its men are 3-1 on the season.
