VCSU Football is set to take on nationally-ranked No. 21 Dickinson State University this Saturday, Oct. 5, on the road.
 
Coming off a hard fought 10-16 road loss against Mayville last weekend, the Vikings are looking to come up with a much-needed win against No. 21 DSU. The game will be streamed by DSU on their YouTube channel and will be covered by KOVC 1490 AM/96.3 FM. Kickoff is set for 3:00 PM.

VCSU is 1-3 on the season and 0-2 in the NSAA. DSU is 3-1 and 2-0 in the conference. The two conference Viking losses are to Dakota State (8-19) and Mayville State (10-16), while Dickinson's wins are against Mayville State (31-7) and University of Jamestown (42-6).
 
Dickinson has won nine of the last ten match ups dating back to 2017. All time, the Vikings are 10-33 against DSU.
 
Following this week, the Vikings come back home for the Ag Bowl against University of Jamestown. All of the Viking games in the remainder of the season are in conference, playing DSU once more, two games against UJ, a rematch at Dakota State and a rematch home against Mayville.
