The Valley City State men's basketball team dropped a non-conference road game Saturday night, falling 104-74 at Dordt University.
Dordt shot 61 percent overall, scorching their home nets en route to the victory.
Valley City State drops to 0-2 on the season. Dordt improves to 3-1. The Vikings will look to find the win column Wednesday night when they host the University of Minnesota-Morris. VCSU's women tip at 5 p.m. on Wednesday with the men's game to follow at 7 p.m.
Duoth Gach made five 3's and scored 17 points off the bench, and Jalen Addison scored 16 points to lead the Vikings in Saturday's loss.
VCSU shot 39 percent overall (27-70), 45 percent on 3's (13-29) and 58 percent at the line (7-12). Dordt finished the game at 61 percent (39-64), 30 percent on 3's (7-23) and 91 percent at the line (19-21).
