Valley City State traveled to Dakota State University and fell in three straight sets Friday night, 25-17, 25-22, 25-21.

The Vikings then faced No. 14 Bellevue University on Saturday and dropped another match in three sets, 25-10, 25-18, 25-14.

Valley City State falls to 4-10 on the season and 0-4 in the NSAA.

Dakota State University improves to 9-6 overall and 3-0 in the North Star. Bellevue brings their overall record to 14-4 and NSAA record to 3-1.

UP NEXT: Valley City State hosts Mayville State for Dig Pink Night on Wednesday, October 2, at 7 p.m. in Graichen Gym. The VCSU Century Club will offer a free meal at the Gazebo at 5:30 p.m.

Morganne Eppard led the Vikings with 15 digs for the Vikings. Senior Madison Brown tallied a team-high seven kills while Caitlyn Fishbach and Kylie Tucker each added five.

Reagan Ingstad recorded 12 assists and Alexa Walby added 11.

Valley City State 0, Bellevue University 3

Eppard recorded a team-high 15 digs Saturday while Kallene Klever added seven.

Katie Juarez and Taylor Sargent each recorded six kills to lead the Viking offense. Reagan Ingstad tallied 13 assists and Alexa Walby added eight.
