The VCSU Softball Complex is located on campus, just south of the W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse and Shelly Ellig Field. Three softball diamonds make up the complex.

The Viking softball game field features a large scoreboard in center field and brick dugouts. Dimensions are 200 feet to left and right field, and 215 feet to center field.

The complex is also used by Valley City Parks and Recreation for different softball and baseball leagues and games throughout the year.
