Morgan Freije has helped the VCSU volleyball team to its best start since 1996, totaling seven games with double-figure kills in 2023. Freije posted a season-best 11 kills in a victory over Mount Marty. In addition, she totals 39 total blocks through 14 games this season and posted a career-high 7 blocks in a 3-1 win over the University of Winnipeg.
