Connor Nelson has emerged as one of VCSU’s top bullpen arms during his sophomore season. Through 31 games, Nelson has made 11 appearances with two saves and one win. He has posted a team-best 3.80 ERA in 21.1 innings pitched, and has struck out 28 batters while walking just seven. In a recent conference doubleheader against Viterbo, Nelson made two appearances as he earned a save in game one and a win in game two.
