Jasmine Barnes set a new VCSU record at the inaugural NAIA Marathon Classic on Dec. 3 in Sacramento, Calif. The senior beat the previous marathon record by more than ten minutes, clocking a time of 3:15:42. Barnes placed 11th out of 35 NAIA runners at the NAIA event.
