A fifth-year senior, Bailey Nelson stepped up with a huge match in the opening round of the NAIA Volleyball National Tournament. Nelson tallied 17 kills and did not commit a single attack error, hitting .567 in VCSU’s 3-1 win at No. 21 Central Methodist University. Nelson has a team-high 358 kills this season as she has helped the Vikings to a 23-9 record and their first appearance at the NAIA National Tournament.
