Mardi Scutchings, a senior transfer, has become a key member of the VCSU volleyball team, averaging 2.7 kills per set as a right-side hitter. Scutchings has posted double figure kills in four of VCSU’s last six games, highlighted by a season-high 14 kills against Mayville State. The Kelvington, Saskatchewan native also posted a season-best five assisted blocks in a 3-0 sweep over Jamestown on Oct. 11.
