Emanuel Spiyee has made his mark as a true freshman on the VCSU football team, totaling 17 solo tackles and eight assisted tackles so far this season. The Fargo, N.D. native opened his freshman campaign with an interception and fumble recovery in a home victory against Jamestown. Spiyee added 1.5 tackles for a loss of 25 yards as well as an interception in a double-overtime victory over Mayville.
